Coverage
Communities we deliver to
We run dumpsters out of our 931-945 W Hoover Ave yard across every corner of Orange and out into Orange County and North and Central Orange County. If your community is not on this list, call us anyway. We probably still get there.
Before you call
Have these four things ready
- 1
The delivery address
Street address, and if access is tight — a narrow driveway, an alley, a shared lot — mention it. The historic streets around Old Towne Orange's Plaza, and the winding, sidewalk-light streets common in places like Villa Park and North Tustin, can run tighter than a typical suburban street; we plan around it either way.
- 2
What is going in it
Household contents, roofing, mixed construction debris, furniture, yard waste — and flag anything regulated separately, like paint, solvents, fuels, oils, tires, batteries, e-waste, hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders, propane tanks or medical waste, so we can guide you on safe disposal instead of loading it in with everything else.
- 3
Where it should sit
Driveway, curb lane or jobsite. In most cases, placement entirely on your own property needs no permit; a street or curb placement is a different matter — tell us when you book and we'll walk you through it.
- 4
When you need it
Same day, tomorrow morning, or a set date — and roughly how long you want to keep it. Extensions are easy to arrange, but planning ahead is best.
Permits
Property vs. public right-of-way
On your own property
A dumpster that sits entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot is the setup for the large majority of jobs we deliver across Orange and Orange County — that kind of placement generally falls outside the public right-of-way rules that a street or curb placement would trigger. The City of Orange's own permit page doesn't spell out a driveway-specific rule either way, so if you're not sure where your property line falls or how your street is treated, ask us when you book and we will tell you plainly before the truck ever leaves the yard.
On the street or right-of-way
Placement in a public street, on a sidewalk or anywhere else in the right-of-way is the situation where an Encroachment Permit becomes relevant. City of Orange Public Works is the place to confirm the current process and any fee for your specific street — reach them at (714) 744-5525 or pwpermits@cityoforange.org. If your address sits in one of the unincorporated pockets near Orange — North Tustin or Orange Park Acres, for example — that same kind of right-of-way permit routes through OC Development Services instead of a city hall, since neither community has its own municipal government. Tell us your street situation when you book and we'll help you sort out what's needed, not the morning of.
Answers
Contact questions
What information do you need when I call?
Four things, and the call takes about two minutes: the delivery address, roughly what you're throwing away, where you want the container to sit, and when you need it. If you're unsure about the size, describe the pile and we will size it. A photo of the driveway or curb helps if the placement is tight.
Do you serve my community?
We cover Orange and out to Villa Park, North Tustin, Orange Park Acres, Yorba Linda, Placentia, Fullerton, Brea and La Habra — 8 communities in all beyond Orange proper, spanning North and Central Orange County. Just outside that? Call anyway — we can usually make it work.
What are your hours?
Mon–Sat 7:00am – 7:00pm. Deliveries and collections run through the working day. Ring outside hours and you can leave your address on a message — we'll call back first thing.
Can I email instead of calling?
You can email info@dalesfordandcodumpsterrental.com and we'll reply, but the phone is far quicker for anything time-sensitive. Sizing a container is a conversation — two questions on a call usually settles what an email thread will not. For same-day delivery, always ring.
Is there a charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and given over the phone, not an estimate that moves later. Most jobs land in the $350–$750 range, and we'll tell you exactly where yours falls — and when a smaller container does the job — before anything is booked.
Do I need a permit for my address?
Depends where the container sits. In most cases, a container entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot needs no permit. A public street or curb placement is a different matter — mention it when you call and we'll walk you through what your job needs, including who at City of Orange Public Works to confirm with.
