Construction Dumpster Rental across Orange and Orange County

From new-construction lots in Yorba Linda to hillside remodels above North Tustin's canyon-adjacent streets, framing debris, drywall and finish waste, and concrete or masonry all size out differently -- and all show up on our phone. The City of Orange also holds every self-hauler to a real, binding standard: Municipal Code 8.29.040 requires at least 65% of construction and demolition debris collected from a project site to be diverted away from landfill, and Orange County's own C&D Program applies a similar 65% diversion standard on qualifying projects countywide.

We size and place the container to match the phase you are in, and we keep the swap schedule tight so a full box does not sit on your site slowing the crew down.

How it works

A straightforward process, start to finish

The same five steps whether it is a driveway cleanout or a live jobsite swap.

  1. 1

Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the box needs to sit and when you need it. No forms, no waiting on an email.

  2. 2

We size it and quote it flat

You get one number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance — typically $350–$750 depending on size and debris. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.

  3. 3

Delivered on boards, where you want it

The driver walks the spot with you, lays protection under the rails and sets the container square in the driveway, curb lane or job site.

  4. 4

    Load at your own pace

Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.

  5. 5

We haul it and sort it right

Clean concrete, metal and yard waste get routed for recovery rather than buried wherever we can. You get your driveway or curb back the way you left it.

Sized to the phase of the job

Framing and demo debris runs bulky but light. Drywall, trim and finish-out waste runs heavier per cubic yard than it looks. Concrete, brick and masonry are dense enough that a smaller container often makes more sense than a bigger one once you account for the weight allowance. Tell us which phase you are working through and we will size accordingly instead of defaulting to whatever is biggest.

For a multi-phase job -- a Yorba Linda new build, a Villa Park half-acre remodel, a North Tustin hillside project -- we work out a swap schedule up front, so you are not calling in a panic every time a container fills.

Diversion, disposal and calling before you dig

Once a container leaves your site, we route clean concrete, metal and unpainted wood toward recovery by default rather than straight to landfill -- the kind of routing that keeps a project within the City of Orange's 65% diversion standard. Orange County Waste & Recycling runs three landfills across the county -- Olinda Alpha near Brea, Frank R. Bowerman near Irvine and Prima Deshecha near San Juan Capistrano -- for whatever debris is not recoverable.

Before any digging starts on a job site -- post holes, footings, utility trenching -- call DigAlert (California811), the utility-locate service that covers Orange County and the rest of Southern California, to have underground lines marked. It is standard practice on every job we deliver to, and it is free.

Answers

Construction Dumpster Rental -- your questions

Can I mix framing, drywall and concrete in one dumpster?

You can, but it is not the most efficient way to use the weight allowance -- dense material like concrete and masonry eats into your tonnage fast. Ask us about keeping heavy debris separate if your job is generating a mix.

Does the City of Orange really require 65% diversion on construction debris?

Yes -- Orange Municipal Code 8.29.040 requires self-haulers to divert at least 65% of construction and demolition debris from landfill, and Orange County's C&D Program applies a similar 65% standard on qualifying projects countywide. We route recoverable material -- concrete, metal, unpainted wood -- toward recovery by default.

Do you do mid-job swaps on active construction sites?

Yes -- for multi-phase jobs we set up a swap schedule so a full container gets replaced before it backs up the crew.

Does a construction dumpster need a permit in Orange?

Not usually if it stays entirely on the job site itself. Placing it in a public street or right-of-way is a different situation -- that is a question for City of Orange Public Works at (714) 744-5525, or OC Development Services if the site is in an unincorporated community like North Tustin or Orange Park Acres. We will help you figure out which one applies before delivery.

Do I need to call before I dig on my job site?

Yes -- call DigAlert (California811), the underground-utility locate service for Orange County and the rest of Southern California, before any excavation. It is standard practice on every job, and it is free.
